I really appreciate how (so far) you're appearing fairly balanced and well-informed of Lutheran and Anglican perspectives. If I hear one more time that "Martin Luther took these books out of the Bible," I'm going to scream!
Question: are you all planning on doing this podcast for awhile yet? I'd love to hear y'all talk about the books in the LES that aren't traditionally held in Eastern/Western Canons but are by some Copts!
So glad you hear you’re enjoying the show so far. We’re definitely planning on doing the podcast a while longer. We’re going to cover the OT Apocrpyha one book at a time. We’re in the homestretch on Tobit now and will pick up from there with 1 Maccabees. Right now we’re limiting the scope of the show to books in the EO canon, broadly construed. That leaves off books like Jubilees and 1 Enoch for now. But you never know…
